Looks I Love #13.

Haven't done one of these in a while, but I adore this chic, simple look I found on Frugal Fashionista the other day. If you don't already follow this blog you may want to start. She does a great job of creating similar outfits to those worn by stars on a young professionals budget spectrum. I adore that concept. Even better, I frequently find that I HAVE the pieces to put together these outfits already in my closet, I just haven't put them together quite like she has.

Don't you think most of us could put this together from a combo of currently owned items and maybe buying a piece or two in order to complete it?

Looks I Love #11.

I love maxi dresses although truthfully I haven't bought new ones since my weight loss so I should get on that. Love the casual, effortlessness of this outfit.

Looks I Love #10.

Fine, I'm obsessed with Reese and her sense of style. Judge me. But I love this dress and the color is stunning on her.

Looks I Love #9.

If I were a rich women this prada trench would be mine. Love the over-the-knee leather boots in combo. Plus I admit to wanting to look pretty much exactly like Kim K anyway. Love, B

Looks I Love #5.

I'm kind of neutral on this new denim dress trend. Maybe because I wore them when they were popular in the 90s and now that they're coming back I just feel old? But I love Reese Witherspoon. I love her as an actress, a fashionista, and even like stalking her personal like a bit from time to time. I do love this dress especially in combo with the boots. I'm not sure however, I would have done tights.

Looks I Love #4 - Workout Edition.

I love workout gear. Maybe because growing up my Dad got us all kinds of cool gear through his work - or maybe because I've recently falling in love with working out, I'm not sure. I like to keep it simple, mostly black and a little something like these...

Looks I Love #3.

(Image from the Budget Babe)

Obsessed with this outfit. Can I please jack this entire look straight from Cameron and wear is when I travel. She looks fabulous. I have several pairs of boots but riding boots in brown are still high up on the list of things I still want. I wish they weren't so expensive and there weren't so many days of the year I'd be miserably hot in them here in Florida. But how perfect would it be to arrive in New York in this ensemble in May?

I've also been desperately wanting to buy a Fedora because I think they're presh. However, I inherited my Dad's oversized head so they aren't particularly flattering on me. Wah. Maybe they have a version for people with big heads? I'll look into that.

Look I Love #2.

(Image taken from peoplestylewatch.com) I haven't been a huge Katie Holmes fan since her marriage to Tom Cruise. They kind of give me the creeps. When she was recently named the new face (and body?) of Ann Taylor I wasn't surprised, however, she really has their look. I do love this outfit on her. She has the rare advange of having long, lean legs that us 5'3 foot girls would kill for - so wide leg jeans are a good look on her (they only serve to make Yours Truly look stubby). It was a great choice to hair a loose fitting top with the structured, cropped jacket. I would, however, have choosen pointy toed shoes to more gracefully lead the eye upward. If any of my readers happen to be 5'8, 120ish - feel free to rock this look in my honor.

Love, B

Today's Workout:

Jogging intervals with the heart rate monitor - 30 minutes.

(needed a break from weights, I'm wicked sore after 5 days in a row of various weight related training).

Look I Love #1.

(image taken from peoplestylewatch.com)

Zoe's outfit has two elements I'm currently obsessed with - leopard print footwear & leather jackets. Sadly there are few occasions for leather jackets in Tampa, since it's 90 degrees most of the time here. But I do love them. I fully intend to wear my white moto jacket in NYC in May.

I haven't found just the right pair of leopard heels yet BUT I do have a great pair of leopard Steve Madden wedges which are uber comfortable and can we dressed up or down. My Mom and I bought them, brand new, at a consignment botique in Carmel, IN (Carmel Consignment) and I've probably worn them 100 times since. Best $12 I ever spent, perhaps?

I do not, sadly, look as tall nor as lean as Zoe in skinny jeans but I do love the color of her jacket and the combo with the shoes. I would certainly wear this outfit on my New York trip if I had it...hmm, maybe I can keep my eye out for a jacket similar?

Love,
B

Note: This is the beginning of what will be regular posts of looks I love as I find them. I'm not sure if it'll be weekly, less, or more. Just stay tuned.
