Weekend Recap.

Well, this weekend was pretty much perfect.

Friday night the roommate and I went to see Katy Perry in concert with my friend, Jessica, for her birthday. Her boyfriend had gotten her four tickets and she invited us. We had a blast - from dinner at Stumps in Channelside to bobbing our heads with teeny boppers in during the concert. We had great seats in the club level and could see everything.

The St. Pete Times Forum looking like we'd been transported into a game of Candyland. It was unreal. And her sparkley sequen outfits were also something else. Seriously though, we had a GREAT time (I may be able to snag a few of Bekah's pictures to post soon).

Saturday was a much needed day that involved a hard 1 hour cardio workout in the morning, 5 hours poolside with a book, and then a couple of hours of babysitting (but with the kids asleep) that night. So I finished Love and Respect, made a dent in my latest James Patterson novel, and even started 'Sacred Marriage' while I was at it. It was heavenly.

Sunday I went to church. After church Thomas and I got to have lunch with Trish and Glenn at PF Changs. I was so excited to finally introduce them. We had a great time catching up and it was fun for me to have T get to know one of my absolute favorite couples. The food was pretty rockin too. ; ]

Since he was already on my side of town Thomas laid by and in the pool with me all afternoon. My favorite weekend activity WITH my favorite guy -what more could a girl want? Oh wait, it gets better...

Last night we packed a picnic and hit the beach with our friends Lindsay (who introduced us) and Zach. We ate delish food (including key lime pie) and took a long walk on the beach. Then we laid around until the sunset. It was the perfect end to a great weekend!

Hope you all had just as much fun (and a little relaxation) of your own.

Love,

B
